The satellite connection isn't available yet. It's in Beta and you have to register to get it once it becomes available. It's also a TMobile thing and not Samsung as far as I know. I could be wrong.

Gonna be perfect to try out when I go mountain bike. Lots of time there is no signal in the canyon and mountain. But I probably won't qualify to test satellite connection as I don't live in the boons with no cell signal

Hello,

Thanks for bringing up the topic of satellite connection! Itā€™s great to see the excitement around this feature, and we understand the anticipation. Let us help clarify a few points:

1. Satellite Connection Rollout:
This feature isnā€™t fully active yet and is still in development. Even on supported networks like T-Mobile, it may require registration or further updates to enable. Itā€™s not directly tied to the One UI 7 beta but is something Samsung is working on, in collaboration with carriers.

2. Who Benefits?
While itā€™s a game-changer for those in remote areas or outdoor enthusiasts (like mountain bikers!), itā€™s understandable that some may find it less relevant if they always have good coverage. That said, itā€™s exciting to see Samsung thinking ahead and preparing for situations where this technology could make a big difference.

3. Stay Tuned:
Samsung and carriers like T-Mobile will likely provide more information and rollout details soon. In the meantime, beta testing is helping refine One UI 7 and other features to ensure a smooth experience when everything goes live.

Letā€™s keep sharing feedback and enjoying those ā€œlol momentsā€ in the comments šŸ˜€.

Regards.
