I would like to see more options with the Samsung keyboard for customization. It would be nice if there were themes and color options available like what Google Keyboard offers. Also, I noticed that the text-to-speech feature in Samsung Keyboard is greatly lacking when it comes to punctuation. When I dictate a text with punctuation like "comma", it spells the word "comma" instead of actually placing one in the text. This is something that Google Keyboard has no problem with.
Due to these lacking features, I will continue to use Google Keyboard. I do hope the Samsung Keyboard becomes a better option in the future!
As far as customization, they gave us Keys Cafe and Theme Park in Good Lock to really go wild. I noticed that with voice-to-text as well. I guess they're relying more on AI to auto-punctuate; you don't actually have to say "comma" or "period." You can use the spelling and grammar AI function after dictating to make it "perfect".
Thanks for the response! I am familiar with Keys Cafe and Theme Park, but I am a little lazy when it comes to my keyboard. Instead of having to take extra time to design my keyboard, I would love to have some design themes just offered by default in the Keyboard application itself like Google.
I will have to take Samsung Keyboard for a spin again and try out the AI auto punctuate feature. That would actually make their keyboard better than Google's if you don't even have to say "comma" or "period "
