Hi,
One UI 7's icons are too inconsistent in these points:
1. Background Colors
Generally, in One UI, the symbol in an app icon has a color similar to its background, in addition to white. It is good that some icons have become more colorful and 3D, such as Gallery, Messages, and Voice Recorder. However, others, like Clock, Radio, and Calculator, are worse than those in One UI 6 because their backgrounds are gray. Also, the backgrounds of Device Care, Quick Measure, （and TV Plus） are black, which differs from their symbols. Thus, gray and black backgrounds in some app icons whose colors differ from their symbols should be replaced.
2. Symbol Colors
As I said earlier, the symbol color is white and a color that looks like the background's. Therefore, the symbols of Wallet, Calculator, Camera,（ and Good Lock） should be repainted.
3. Symbol Sizes
Some symbols, such as Gallery, Phone, Calculator, Clock, Contact, Reminder and many other apps in One UI 7, have become slightly larger than those in One UI 6, while others' sizes have not changed. All icons' symbols should be the same size (personally, I prefer the size in One UI 6).
4. Modes and Routines app and Reminder app
These icons are too similar, making us confused without their names. Only one should be redesigned.
5. Calendar and Email Apps
I dislike the calendar and email app icons in One UI 7. I think the One UI 6 version with gradients would be better.
Some may suggest using Theme Park and applying new icons, but if custom icons are applied, the hands on the clock icon and the dates in the calendar icon are not synchronized. Samsung should add features to the Theme Park app.
Also, Samsung should fix these icon inconsistencies in the first place.
I hope the One UI icons are further improved in One UI 8. Samsung, please!
