Phone App / Voice Mail

Why can't the phone app and voicemail be included in the same app rather than having to exit the phone app to get your voicemail?

I've seen in some places that they have them that way. Something I wish I'd see in America. One thing Apple has right over Samsung.

We'd like more a more robust voicemail system for sure

I prefer it being a separate app personally. Way too many calls that turn out to be spam. One of my means of filtering out what gets passed the network filtering is being able to quickly see if there's a new VM without opening the Phone app to see what the indicator is indicating.

I think they are talking about accessing visual voicemail in the phone app, not a separate app.

But it is. Press and hold the #1 on the keypad and the voicemail will activate.
