We should be able to have the option to password protect or require a fingerprint if the user wants to open an app. I have a little baby that plays with my phone but he also likes to open the phone app and call people or the Google Home app to mess with my TV (not sure how he learned these things but he did haha). I initially thought this was something we could do on the device but saw that we can't.

There is a kids option that can be setup and it will require your biometrics to unlock the phone from kids mode once you set it up. I have it setup for my grandkids so they can't access the main info on my phone.

Just move them to Secure Folder and you should be good.
They can't get to that folder since you have a password for it.

SuggestionsHello,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us.
To secure your app from your kids, we recommend you using "Secure Folder", where all your secured apps require your authentications to access.
Thank you again for supporting the One UI Beta Program!
