I understand your point, but it is worth noting that clock layouts can vary, with some people using vertical layouts while others use horizontal ones.

I get that, but there might be an easy fix. Depending if you prefer left or right, it can show notifications or widgets one at a time. If you don't have any widgets, it is possible to show notifications on either side of the clock with a little tweaking. I understand that it may not be centered like a vertical clock, but Samsung is all about customization. For my layout 2, I think if you have one or two widgets it'll disable notifications, I'm sure it would quite be an issue for busy people. And for the third layout, it could be default as the one you see now, when all notifications have been resolved. And as I said, Samsung is all about customization so I'd assume they would give an option to show notifications or widgets as a primary.
