Notifications shown at the top

I would like samsung to show notifications like who is messaging you or show the app name shown at the top left where the notification icons are

Would that not consume a great deal of already minimal space in the status bar, by adding text to what is seen there as well? Swiping down to get the notification shade will display all of that info. The icons shown should be already be an indicator to what apps are as they appear in the status, up to a set number anyway which is currently 3 max, with the "dot" meaning more than 3. I do think that expanding the status bar to allow more icons would be a good idea for those who want more status bar icons, and hopefully that will be allowed in the QuickStar plugin in Good Lock when it gets updated to function with the upcoming UI 8.5 betas, or when the UI 8.5 is finished.
