Lockscreen, stay in Lockscreen!

I would like an option when on lockscreen to view notifications using fingerprint to unlock the phone for it to stay on the lockscreen to expand notifications. 

Currently when you using your fingerprint it then goes to your homescreen forcing you then to pull down the shade just to expand notifications. This option is available when using face unlock, you can choose to stay on your lockscreen without going straight to homescreen. This option should be available for lockscreen too if you so choose. This would be beneficial for those that have fingerprint scanners on foldable devices that accidentally press the power button when in a pocket.

It's good to have a lot of options, but to be honest, I don't see any benefits to staying on the lock screen after unlocking the phone. You don't always check your phone for notifications. So if you wanna use it for something else, there's an extra step: swipe up to unlock after unlocking it with your face.

Sometimes we just want to be able to expand notifications on our lockscreens without going to home screen first to do so.
