With regarding the media player on the lockscreen, I believe the current method of incorporating a dominant color into it isnot good. It results in an ugly color taking over the media player. [Example below]
Although the media player is slightly blurred, it still results in an eyesore color choice that brings down the otherwise beautiful lockscreen.
A change I recommend would be to incorporate multiple colors, blurred into a gradient and implemented in layers into the media player. [Small example below]
In iOS, the gradient I have described is applied to the background. My recommendation would be to incorporate a similar gradient, but instead of applying it to the background, apply it to the media player to avoid a poor dominant color negatively affecting its appearance.
Another option could be to place the album artwork inside the media player and apply a heavy blur to it. [Example below]
In the example above, it blends the album art into colors that are, in my opinion, a more aesthetically pleasing media player than the solid color choice.
This update has been really good so far, thank you to the dev team behind it. Please take my opinion into considerationā¤ļø

1000% percent agree. Current implementation of the player at the bottom looks horribly out of place being a solid color. A gradient is the obvious choice, or picking multiple colors from the album art, and swirling the colors around like the Flex Volume UI in Goodlock
