Menus, options, settings. Many people don't know to check them. I just watched a knowledgeable YouTuber who thought there were only 12 swipe shortcuts for One Hand Operation. He didn't see the three dots for Options. Some think there are only two choices for the double tap button action. I see this a lot with content creators and users. Maybe there needs to be a universal "more" icon. Maybe the word "More" or a pop-up saying "click here" or "there's more to see".
I would like other beta testers here to make suggestions, if you guys don't mind. I don't know what would get people to notice it more. I'm a day-one customer. I have had the benefit of watching it evolve over the years, so I can't unlearn recognitizing it, if that makes sense. I feel like it would be helpful if it came from customers who came after this system was created. What made you notice when you would see there were more options?
I only suggest this or care because there are so many features that have helped improve my life. It's weird to say, but there's attention to details that has helped with my migraines. Like Modes and Routines having circadian lighting for Smartthings. I have a migraine routine that changes my lightning and lowers the phone's brightness, turns down the volumes of the notifications , ringtone, and system. You can change the animations or turn them off. Animations that are too dynamic can exacerbate eye strain and migraines. There are things that just make life more convenient at times. My driving has like 20 actions that let me just get in the car and go. My tv and lights go off, when I leave. When I sleep, the TV turns off and my air conditioner turns on. These are quality of life improvements. Things like this go completely unnoticed. Professional content creators snd users who comment on their videos, people on Reddit, users who have left reviews even miss them. I say this because I would like to think of us as a community and I want other users to get as much out of their phones as possible. I've spent a lot of time consuming content about Galaxies and interacting with their users. I think they deserve it, I just don't know how to make that happen. Menus, options, settings. I think I noticed over the the years by digging deeply into all settings out of curiosity. Always seeing what's behind the three dots?
or hamburger-style menu?
Or what happens if I long press this menu item??
So many hidden settings!
Not very intuitive unless you are bored and or curious, or just extremely knowledgeable.
I imagine most people just turn on thier phone and go! My husband for instance. Haha. He doesn't care about customizations or even settings.

Yeah. I guess, in the end, it's about whether people are curious enough to look or not. I call it the Dee Dee Method, "What does this button do?" But sometimes I see people mad about the phone supposedly not having a feature that is on the phone. They never question if they just don't know it's there.
