For anyone who might not know, a duress PIN is a PIN you can set up that, when entered, will silently wipe your phone. The idea is, if you're mugged and the mugger forces you to unlock your phone before they run off with it, if you enter the duress PIN, the phone will appear to unlock, but then it'll be wiped. That way, the thief won't have access to your data or eSIM.
Another less drastic variation is, if you enter the duress PIN, the phone will unlock but open into an alternate account. That would be useful if you don't want to wipe the phone but also don't want someone being able to see your data.
