The new Dex is looking and feeling great, and as a daily user I love the responsiveness even with many apps open!
But I wouldn't be an enthusiast if I didn't want more features😅
Keyboard keys: super/windows/option key no longer opens a menu when pressed, being able to select search or apps menu would be great
I also don't know what keyboard keys or shortcuts get mapped to the navigation buttons. (Edit: holding down the super key could bring up a tutorial menu like from powertoys shortcut guide)
Finally shortcuts like alt tab, win/super+ direction for window snapping, win shift s screenshot etc would be cool to have back
Taskbar: pin to taskbar more easily either via right click menu and/or dragging from desktop, auto hiding even without full screen mode, keeping taskbar active on hover while in fullscreen mode
Window management: I very much enjoy 4 corner snapping, dragging a window to the corner to have it become just that is super nice for music apps
Another nice thing for music apps is the always on top pin which I would like back.
It would be nice for the explicit side by side mode to be less like window snapping and more like like split screen view outside of Dex where each app is getting half of the screen real estate (perhaps the existing button does this after you have fullscreened a window? Perhaps it does this when taskbar is auto hidden?) (And I'd also like this for quarters but that could be too cramped)
The button to force a resize in Dex is awesome! now I want it outside of Dex for the same apps (would make sense in the menu of an app in recents for any app opened in dex? between pop up view and keep open maybe?)
Thank you for reading this, I and at least a few other folks have been able to replace our main computers with Dex, I hope this refresh of dex brings more people around to the "my phone is my PC" life!

Here's my current findings of features that may be useful: When a window is open you can drag it from the right of the | to the left to "pin" it at the moment while there is no pin button If you want to auto hide taskbar right now you can open and fullscreen an app in the background Edit: if you dont like the dex desktop you can launch another launcher inside of Dex with interesting results
1) Folders should open in front of the current open apps. With the current build I need to shrink windows because the folder opens behind an open window.
2) I would like to be able to pin app icons back to the taskbar. This really helps for certain workflows.
3) Can we get the grid expanded back out to the edge of the screen. It would be helpful to place apps and folders at the edge of the screen. This helps accessing them when there are open app windows.
good catch on the folders Apps can be "pinned" in the taskbar by opening the app, then dragging it from the right to the left and for the grid you can open another launcher in dex as a workaround for the moment
