Hey Samsung,

You're taking all this time with a I.And you need to use it to instead improve the voice to text dictation in your own keyboard.Because it has punctuations, where they are not needed. It doesn't even add a space after periods.Automatically, and it's just horrible sure.People could use other keyboards like google's keyboard or swift, key or something like that. But why try and get your users to migrate over to a competitor service? When you could just make yours better?

At previous, paragraph was dictated using your keyboard microphone.By the way, if that wasn't obvious.

Bring back DJ Koh so he can fix everything.

You don't want to use third party apps, then don't. Google is not considered 3rd party, because you have an Android phone.

I have a Samsung Galaxy phone which uses an open source OS without apps. Any added apps are 3rd party.
Google apps are 3rd party.
If you like Google apps you can buy a Pixel phone.

Are you saying you use a degoogled phone? I'm not aware of any Samsung smartphones that officially run anything other than Android.

Do you even know what Android is? Yes, it is open sourced based on Linux kernals to make your touchscreen operate. That was the original purpose of Android, a touchscreen interface. Open sourced so developers can design apps to work on your touchscreen. Google bought Android in 2005, it took another 3 years for the first Android based phones to start rolling out in 2008 with HTC being the first followed by Motorola and then Samsung in 2009.

Google is the only owner of Android in 2025, it is still opened sourced for developers to design apps. No, Google apps are not 3rd party if they own the OS, 3rd party apps are anything other than Google. Technically all Samsung apps are 3rd party because they pay a licensing fee to GOOGLE to run on the Android platform. Let's just call Samsung apps 2nd party.

I don't think that many of them understand that android is AOSP yes, google is mainly android, but you're one hundred percent correct. is still by definition, a third party app, unless it came from samsung.. samsung is its own os on the android system. That being said, they're intertwining with Google. That's why we have Google's Messaging app. Instead of our own native app, which sucks.

I tried to explain more, but Samsung keeps deleting my comments. I don't know why.
Thanks a lot for your comment.
People need to learn about these so they can understand.

It should read "I prefer," not "we prefer." You should only speak for yourself, not others. With that being cleared up, you can use Google Voice Typing for a much better voice-to-text experience.

If Samsung hasn't improved its voice-to-text by now, it isn't going to. You have two choices: Samsung, which makes many mistakes, or Google Voice, which is far superior.

I prefer Samsung Keyboard as well. In keyboard settings, you can change the voice input to Google Voice Typing, which gives you the best of both worlds and helps alleviate some of the issues with Samsung voice input.
