Samsung Apps and ServicesI've got a practical workaround for this issue. It took me some digging but I've got the correct settings for my cameras to plug into the 3rd party software that makes my cameras work.
I'm using anycam.io software. download it here: https://anycam.io/download/
It's free to use for 1 camera, but there's a 1 time purchase to get you the added cameras (if you have them).
1. once downloaded. click the 'add IP camera' on the front display.
2. on the next screen you can choose the camera's ip address from the drop down list under "choose IP from LAN'. This will automatically fill in the [Camera IP or Stream URL] or you can manually type it in.
3. Make sure to check the "Camera Requires Authentication"
4. Fill in 'admin' as the Login entry. If you know your Password fill it in too.
5. Press "Connect".
AnyCam.IO will begin to search for the camera's live stream. Mine took a few seconds to connect and start viewing. I get sound and a few other actions off the camera. The one thing I'm not getting is to use the PAN&TILT operations. If anyone has suggestions, please let me know.

Samsung Apps and ServicesI am using the Samsung SNH_V6410PN cameras.
The application leaves all fields blank. I inserted ...
1. Camera IP or Stream URL [full ip location of camera in my network]
2. Camera Requires Authentication [Check]
3. Login [admin]
4. Password [camera pw i setup when first installed]
[Connect]

Samsung Apps and ServicesSamsung SmartCam HD Pro SNH-P6410BN
Samsung has shut down their servers and all my camera do not work with the Samsung SmartThings AP.
I have the Samsung SmartCam HD Pro SNH-P6410BN.
Iāve done some research and I have found a IP Camera viewer that works. You will no longer be able to use all the features you had in the original Samsung Ap, but at least you can view your Cameras.
Download āCam Heroā from the Ap Store. This is an IP viewer that I have had great success with.
You will need to have your camera password you used when you set up your camera.
After installing the Ap select add new camera and let the Ap automatically find the unknown camera IPs that are in your network.
Select the camera brand āHanwah Techwin (Samsung Wisenet) .
Use āadminā for username and āyour camera passwordā for password. Add the name for your camera.
Enjoyā¦. Good Luck.

Samsung Apps and ServicesI called Samsung technical support today to see what their official response would be. It took a few tries to get the right place in Samsung. They sent me to security camera support. At first they said the camera is a consumer product so I told them to transfer me to that department. Then they didn't transfer me and gave me the standard line that the product isn't supported anymore. Then I told them those cameras are currently for sale on Amazon. He told me those are for sale by a third party and not associated with Samsung. I told him It's a Samsung product, Samsung should take responsibility for anyone selling their products. Otherwise their reputation is at stake. He didn't know what to say at that point.
I asked what Samsung recommends to do and if they would replace the product or take it back since the software is no longer supported. He said Samsung wouldn't take the product back. I then asked what was the contract to support the software and he didn't know. It appears we are at a dead-end. I would hope Samsung is monitoring these posts, but I fear they are not. Samsung should stand behind their products, especially for at least 10 years after purchase.
