Samsung Apps and ServicesGreetings,
it definitely seems like a clear violation of the terms of purchase.
My Samsung SNH-P6410BN also became almost unusable now, since they blocked access to the camera via web interface a few years ago (which was really bad) until the servers were shut down in the last few days.
It is absurd and unacceptable, the camera still works in the LAN using RTSP protocol but no configuration of the device will be possible, for example if only the SSID or password of the wireless network to which it is connected were changed, there would no longer be any way to reconnect it.
We can only view what the camera captures using the following method:
rtsp://user: password@ipaddress:554/profile5/media.smp
It streams on VideoLAN VLC and Onvier - IP Camera Monitor, guaranteed.
N.B. This works with my model and the lastest firmware (version 1.12_180413).
WARNING, there are several Windows and Android applications (partially) compatible with our cameras, but as they are software developed by third parties: security and privacy are at risk.
However, the main problem is not being able to reconfigure the device settings.
Although there is a somewhat complex procedure to access the web interface:
https://blog.exploitee.rs/2017/re-hacking-the-samsung-smartcam/
Samsung staff SHOULD take action to resolve this damage for many customers, starting by unlocking access via web browser for local direct configuration, and then updating the SmartCam app for at least local control.
So PLEASE: release a new firmware to allow us to continue using them freely.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping that they demonstrate a certain corporate seriousness.

Samsung Apps and ServicesI too have the Samsung SmartCam HD Pro SNH-P6410BN.
Samsung has shut down their servers and all my camera do not work with the Samsung SmartThings AP.
I’ve done some research and I have found a IP Camera viewer that works. You will no longer be able to use all the features you had in the original Samsung Ap, but at least you can view your Cameras.
Download “Cam Hero” from the Ap Store. This is an IP viewer that I have had great success with.
You will need to have your camera password you used when you set up your camera.
After installing the Ap select add new camera and let the Ap automatically find the unknown camera IPs that are in your network.
Select the camera brand “Hanwah Techwin (Samsung Wisenet) .
Use “admin” for username and “your camera password” for password. Add the name for your camera.
Enjoy…. Good Luck.

Samsung Apps and ServicesI've got a practical workaround for this issue. It took me some digging but I've got the correct settings for my cameras to plug into the 3rd party software that makes my cameras work.
I'm using anycam.io software. download it here: https://anycam.io/download/
It's free to use for 1 camera, but there's a 1 time purchase to get you the added cameras (if you have them).
1. once downloaded. click the 'add IP camera' on the front display.
2. on the next screen you can choose the camera's ip address from the drop down list under "choose IP from LAN'. This will automatically fill in the [Camera IP or Stream URL] or you can manually type it in.
3. Make sure to check the "Camera Requires Authentication"
4. Fill in 'admin' as the Login entry. If you know your Password fill it in too.
5. Press "Connect".
AnyCam.IO will begin to search for the camera's live stream. Mine took a few seconds to connect and start viewing. I get sound and a few other actions off the camera. The one thing I'm not getting is to use the PAN&TILT operations. If anyone has suggestions, please let me know.
