Hello!

Lately, I've been trying to work on my phone addiction, and one feature I've found a bit useful is Samsung's time limit per day for apps. Although, I think it could be much better.

You know how YouTube or TikTok allow reminders to take a break? I'd like for something like that in OneUI, so you can set them for any app. Also, it would be cool if you could seat a "resting time" after that time that won't allow you to open the app until that time has passed. It wouldn't be like a reminder, allowing you to keep going, but a short-term restriction.

For example, I'd like to set TikTok max time per day to, let's say, 45 mins, but I'd like Samsung to "lock" the app for me after 10 continuous minutes of using it, and it shouldn't allow me to reopen it for, let's say, 1 hour.

That way, we can customize our time limits better and make sure we don't just ignore them.

I agree that more robust native Digital Wellbeing tools are needed. At this point in time, third-party solutions are more robust and can probably offer what you're asking for. I use Stay Focused, and it is a pretty good solution for my needs.
