Samsung Apps and ServicesI use a specific food app to monitor my intake - food, calories, macros, UPFs, fermentation and a whole load of other stuff. Once every couple of days, I quick add the calorie count to my Health app as 'dinner', because I think its useful to see there too. I am NOT however, interesting in duplicating the detail of actual food input, thats far too much work (the app I use does it by visual and barcode so very simple). And neither SS Health, nor Connect, can read this app's data.
Could you offer an addition to the quick calorie input that allows me to also quick input the macro breakdown of said calories? Seems such a simple oversight not to just allow me to put that in alongside calories.

Samsung Apps and ServicesHappy New Year in Advance,
From my understanding the app you use has a more convenient way of managing your current calorie intake by allowing you to scan by UPC.
Samsung Health instead has a search or manual inputting system by selecting the three dots on the right hand side that requires you to add each item or meal with no import function.
If you want the Samsung advisory style nutrition guide I'm afraid you are going to have to try and see if Health Connect is compatible with the app you currently use. This will offer a way for Samsung to receive the data if the app is shown.
You'll find Health Connect in the Settings of the Samsung Health App right in the connected apps box.
