Samsung should discontinue the testing feature for headphone jacks on its jackless phone models, given its exclusive reliance on the charging port and the widespread adoption of superior Bluetooth technology..

Acknowledged. The increasing prevalence of Bluetooth headphones and earbuds, driven by advancements in Bluetooth technology and enhanced features, warrants consideration. Therefore, if wired headphones are not in use, the corresponding test should be removed to streamline the process.

Why does this bother you so much? If you don't like that it's in there for diagnostic purposes, don't click on it! You don't have to show your narcissistic tendencies by letting the world know you are annoyed.

I typically select the "all" option instead of clicking each item individually.

You can stop or skip any test at any time, even when selecting all. And, if you are too lazy to interact with the testing, what's the big deal if it does a test you deem unnecessary?  I annoys me that the default for phone diagnostics is to immediately start testing all, but I immediately double tap to stop the testing and then I can choose individual tests, as most times I only want to test one thing.

Samsung's product development strategy incorporates usage data analysis; for instance, Bluetooth functionality was removed from the S Pen due to low user adoption. Therefore, I propose that functionality testing be omitted for features with minimal user engagement, and that headphone detection be implemented to enable conditional testing.

Just like with the S Pen bluetooth, if Samsung felt there was a need to delete the wired headphone diagnostic functionality, they probably would do it. But apparently that's not the case and I really don't think you suggesting it is going to make a bit of difference to Samsung.

The diagnostics do not know that the user is not using wired headphones.  The test specifically asks that the headphones be connected when it reaches that test.  If you do not use wired headphones, you just hit the "skip test" option, so you do not have to be annoyed by plugging in a device you don't have.  Most people aren't constantly running the diagnostic module, as there is no reason to unless one is having issues.  One usually tests the component they are having a problem with.

Right. MANY of us still use wired headphones, and even external DACs, with usbc connections. Samsung, DON'T listen to OP (not that we thought you would, anyway)!
