Go to the settings and type auto-update and you can choose from
Turning it off or auto-update over WIfi or data

It was not illegally forced  on your phone - get a grip.  You agreed to the EULA and TOS when you activated your phone and put it into service. I suggest you read what you agreed to.  It can all be found on your phone. Settings/about phone/legal information.

Please revert back! Battery icons are horrible, was able to change back from scrolling apps to page style, and im sure theres more i havent found yet,but so far this upgrade is a down grade!! It was perfect as it was, now I cant see the tiny battery % in top corner ,there is no big green circle display while charging anymore,its just gone! That was a favorite of mine!! Now there is just the small print % at bottom ,that was already there on lock screen b4! A big pile of nothing is wat we got,while taking usefull things that we liked and used daily... away!

The update changed some of my settings. My Gboard is totally different and I'm in dark mode now. I can't stand the new battery display. I don't like scrolling for apps, is there a way to change it. Also getting to the settings at the top of the screen is difficult.

Yes,to change apps from scrolling... go to app page and at bottom u should see search bar w 3 dots, click on dots and then click sort, then click custom order.. and u will go back to the old page by page order.

exactly people need to look into more of what the new update will look like and everything before actually updating I mean there's plenty of information out there and you might not like it but everyone else likes the looks and stuff so if you don't want the update then don't accept the update eventually you'll have to but besides that if you're going to always complain about Samsung stuff in reverting and all that please do us a favor and go to another phone brand and leave us alone because Samsung is kind of a one-off on its own thing, everyone knows that but for people to complain about the update and then get the update and oh I'll revert back the icons and stuff like that it's a bunch of **bleep** I'm sorry but people have to complain about something nowadays and then society sucks as a whole because of it
