Samsung Apps and ServicesI would like to have the ability to have my alarms go off every 8 days. I work a shift job and do 2 days 2 nights 4 days off. It would be awesome to not have my alarms set to every day. I know I can pick days in the calendar on the alarms but it would just be so much more convenient if I could set an alarm and have it go off every 8 days repeating till I change it or cancel it completely.

The Reminder App can act as an Alarm and you can set it to go off every 8 days.

Samsung Apps and ServicesTo set alarms on a rotating schedule, you can use a combination of built-in features on your phone or a third-party app. Here's a simple guide on how to set up a rotating alarm schedule on your phone:
Option 1: Using Google Calendar (For Recurring Alarms)
If you want to set alarms on a rotating schedule, like different times for different days, using Google Calendar is a great option. Here's how to set it up:
Open Google Calendar: Launch the Google Calendar app on your phone.
Create a New Event:
- Tap the "+" button or Create in the app.
- Set the event to your alarm time (e.g., 7:00 AM).
Set it to Repeat:
- Under the event details, tap on Does not repeat and choose a custom schedule (e.g., every other day or on specific days of the week).
Set an Alarm Reminder:
- In the event, scroll down to Notification or Reminder, and set it to alert you at the time you want.
Repeat for Other Days:
- Set additional alarms by creating separate events for different days of the week, and adjust the repeat schedule accordingly (e.g., alternate days, rotating schedule).
This method will help you set alarms at different times on different days.
Option 2: Using Third-Party Apps
If you want more advanced control over rotating alarm schedules, you might consider third-party alarm apps like:
Alarmy: This app allows you to set various alarms with different schedules. It even has features like puzzle-solving to stop the alarm, which is helpful for waking up.
I Can't Wake Up!: This alarm clock lets you set up multiple alarms with different intervals and times to rotate through.
Option 3: Using Built-in Alarm App (Limited)
If you want to manually rotate alarms, you could set them individually in your phoneās alarm app. However, you would need to change the times each day for different schedules.
To set an alarm:
- Open the Clock or Alarm app.
- Tap Add Alarm (usually a + symbol).
- Set the time for one alarm and save it.
- Repeat this for different times on different days.
This method is manual but can still work if you're comfortable adjusting it regularly.
