Need Help with com.android.certinstaller

Hi. What does com.android.certinstaller does? I have seen it in my activity page and want to know its function. Thank you very much for your time.

I'm not 100% sure but, this app should be linked to some settings in Security and Privacy. It should be a system app and completely safe.
