Message app unique default sound?

This is a feature request for the message app.

Can you add an option to select a unique default sound, rather than having to choose one for each conversation? 

I was able to do that on my S21, and the Z Fold doesn't allow that setting.

Oh yes you can do that very well you just have to go to the side where the three dots are in messenger and it shows you something like the noise from like anything like a silent or a pop or like something like that

If you want messages app to make a different sound, then tap and hold on messages app icon and then in the pop-up tap on the "i" mark. Then go to notifications. In there go to notification categories and then tap on new messages and this will open additional settings.
