**bleep** is wrong with this company! I'mso sick and tired of no longer having the mic button for speech to text in the keyboard! Moving to Google or another. Just another way I'm switching AWAY from Sapple! Keep going guys! As soon as you complete your change into apple you will see your phone devision disappear!

If you don't see the voice input icon on the navbar and you see a keyboard icon instead, long press the input method button and switch to voice input.

If you don't see an icon at all, go to Settings > General management > keyboard > keyboard button on navigation bar.

If you don't like the new location of the voice input and want it in the toolbar, switch to Gboard1765805586205.jpg1765805783114.jpg1765805826683.jpg

Switch to a different keyboard.  All other keyboards, including Google keyboard and Swiftkey have the microphone where you expect it to be.  You are not required to use the Samsung keyboard.  You can have multiple keyboards resident on your phone and switch between them if one has features or characters you need at any given time.

User error undoubtedly. As others have said the mic is there AND you can choose which side of the keyboard it's on in the settings.
