Samsung Apps and ServicesHey Samsung Members!
One of the best things about using a Samsung Galaxy device is how much you can customize it — from wallpapers to icons, themes, widgets, and more!
Whether you’re into minimal, colorful, or techy styles, there are endless ways to make your phone uniquely yours.
Here are a few fun ways I love to personalize mine:
Good Lock Modules – Change your lock screen, quick panel, and multitasking layout easily.
One UI Themes – Mix and match wallpapers, icons, and color palettes to match your mood.
Edge Panels – Access your favorite apps, tools, or contacts instantly.
Always On Display (AOD) – Add clock styles, GIFs, or even custom text to your AOD screen.
Bixby Routines – Automate your phone based on time, place, or activity (like turning on Dark Mode at night).
Your Turn:
How do you personalize your Samsung phone?
Do you use any special Good Lock modules, widgets, or icon packs?
Drop screenshots or ideas below — let’s inspire each other’s setups!

Samsung Apps and Services• Good Lock
• Fine Lock
• Wallpaper Generator
• Shorcut Maker
• Modes and Routines
Within the FineLock app I use these modules:
• QuickStar-to change visibility of indictor icons and to squish more quick settings onto the screen
• ClockStar-to change the clock face and wallpaper for my flip 7 cover screen
• MultiStar-to improve multitasking i.e. (pop-up view,multi focus, prevent pop-up minimization)
• NavStar-to change nav bar symbols(this is where the show/hide button setting is located now btw)
• NiceShot-to add delete button to screenshot toolbar
• HomeUp-to squeeze more apps onto the screen, and to change the task changer view
• RegiStar-I use this most for the power button press and hold setting. I have it set to turn on the flashlight. I used to use it mostly to change the order of the settings menu but it doesn't support one ui 8 yet 😞
Wallpaper Generator is good for selecting a bunch of colors and making a wallpaper based on predefined designs. It's has bare bones gui but functions well
Shortcut maker is by far one of my favorite apps for my home screen. You can go through and set different actions to be a shorcut on the homescreen to minimizethe time it takes to get to regularly used actions. Some examples are:
• More connection settings(settings)
• Display
• Firmware update
• Dev settings
• Bluetooth menu
Lastly, I use modes and routines for my automated actions. I have a sleep mode, work mode, and quiet mode. One ui 8 removed the ability to put multiple modes into one widget so I created a routine that turns the mode on once selected since you can put up to four routines onto one widget.
I also have manual routines including: a 5 minute timer, disabling bluetooth and location, as well as a stop watch.
My automated routines include a fully charged notification, and a wifi/data switch for when I connect/disconnect from my home wifi.
I also have connectivity labs and dev options enabled for some of the more niche settings:
• Window animations toggled to .5x for that snappy transition feel
• Window management - force activities to be resizable and multi window for all app since the flip 7 is so new I've had to turn these on for full functionality.
• Connectivity labs are mostly used for the home wifi inspection and wifi 7 mode toggle but they don't get much use.

P.S. use nextDNS for private DNS settings to block quite a bit of ads on everything 🙂

Samsung Apps and ServicesAlmost everything on my home screen is a stackable widget (exceptions are the Good Lock widget and the two folders to the right of it.
I've also used Good Lock to maximize my favorites and customize my navigation bar.
I have way too many Modes and Routines to list them all. My favorites include a Routine that turns NFC on when I open my wallet and turns it back off when the wallet is closed, and another Routine that keeps my alarms on when I'm home and turns them off when I'm away.
I use the Task edge panel for specific tasks in some of my favorite apps (not compatible with all apps unfortunately) and I keep my favorite apps in the Apps edge panel.
I used Theme Park to customize the colors on my Quick Panel to make it easier to see.
Lots of other changes, mostly in settings.
