Personally for me, I was very stunned when Samsung Announced they are bringing back Samsung Cloud and with this case Cloud back up will be really convenient and my message for Samsung is they should just be consistent, I dont understand why they will bring something everyone loves then boom they let go of it again... From day one we know Samsung to be the most innovative brand but what happened...they just forgot about their vision and focus and copying Apple...How can you be in competition with someone and make them influence you to loss your own vision.
I think it's time Samsung let go of some partnership and focus and build the Galaxy ecosystem to be more compact, simple and easier. Why ditch your own message app for Google... whiles your messages app is way more better than Google's.

Samsung Apps and ServicesCloud servers are massive energy hogs, and if you don't have the numbers, they're a financial sinkhole. Samsung couldn't compete with Microsoft and Google in this area.
Whether Samsung Messages (SM) is better than Google Messages (GM) is a matter of opinion. However, one thing that GM has over SM is that RCS is not available on all phones with SM, as it is carrier-dependent, and GM is not. This is a large reduction in texting features that most users expect to be standard at this point, especially if they are coming from an iPhone and iMessages.
