Can files from link sharing can still be downloaded if deleted from phone?

Hello! Can the files from the link created with the Link sharing function in the Gallery still be downloaded if they are deleted from the phone? Thank you!

Welcome to the Community, petricalaslau, and thank you for reaching out! The Link Sharing feature can indeed be used independently of having the device locally, since it is uploaded to Samsung Cloud, but the links expire and the file is automatically deleted after 3 days. As long as the link is still good, and the file is not on the 3-day mark, it should be downloadable by those with the valid link.

What if the link does not work in the sense that the download button does not work?

Thank you for reaching out. Just to clarify, are you trying to download from a link you sent, or the other person is unable to download unable to use the download button from on the link you shared?

Please note: You can easily transfer files up to 5 GB which will be stored in your Samsung Cloud service for 3 days and then will be automatically be deleted. The unique Link Sharing code will expire in 10 minutes so make sure the code has been received by your friend/family and downloaded within the given timeframe.
