OK, Samsung your turn!
You are the only one left of the 3 major phones sold in the US that does not allow us to see our battery health in percentage.
Google just added this in their latest beta update in the US. My Pixel 9proXl is currently sitting at 96% after almost one year of light use. Apple has had this since 2018.
All we get is, Good, Normal and fail. This is inadequate considering what these terms mean when translated to percentages.
Good is supposedly 75-100%, the floor should be 80%. Anything below 79% it's time to replace the battery.
Normal is considered 55-75%, in what world should this be considered normal. Samsung Care+ replaces batteries that are below 79%. Which means as soon as diagnostics says normal you should be heading to your nearest Samsung authorized service center to replace your battery.
Don't get me wrong, I love each and every one of my Samsung products, I'm all in on the ecosystem, phone, Ring, Buds, watches (3), Tablet and laptop. It's sometimes the business decisions that have me scratching my head.
It shouldn't take an act of Congress, like it did in the EU for this ability.
Should we be able to see the health of our batteries in percentage instead of a word?
