Android easter egg addiction to a planet

So when my phone is charging my android spaceship easter egg keeps going for this one planet and when auto pilot is off I see no other planets

It's an Easter egg animation, not a full fledged game.  Why would they take up precious space in the UI code to add more elements?  Do you realize each element takes up more drive space?

Why would I need a screenshot?  I've already seen the Easter egg and I know what it is.
