Updating Galaxy Watches updates

Does anybody here in beta 1 or 2 with a Watch 4 or 5 have a issue that it won't update the watch, it will get stuck at Copying update to your watch and than fail with a message to try again?

I'm trying to figure out if it's a Beta issue or a Galaxy Wearable app issue

I've had this issue with my Galaxy Watch4 and now I'm having this same issue with my brand new Galaxy Watch 5 Pro

I have the watch 4 and had this issue man...took me resetting my watch twice, Uninstalling all wearable related apps and restarting my phone. Try that and start from fresh to see if it helps. 😬

I've connected my brand new Watch 5 yesterday, you think I'll need to do this all over again now? I'll try clearing data from the Wearable app to see if that fixes the issue afterwards or before maybe I'll clear the cache partition etc

I just figured out a better way to update the watch without resetting it, just disconnect it from the phone and check for updates in the watch settings and install it directly from there, it works!

I second this....after restarting my watch and phone a few times, it finally worked. Thinking back, It worked when I checked directly from my watch, although I don't remember if it was connected to my phone at the time...either way great advice and should work 😁
