Suggetion apps in recents, gone after browsing homeup settings

I finally updated home up and went through and messed woth all the settungs. Upon not liking any of the styles of the app has to offer for the recents screen. I turned that whole page off. Since. My suggested apps are now gone. And its just the close all button. Does anyone have a fix?

Go to your task manager, click three dots and turn this on.

I have no 3 dots. Or options in both goodlock or regular settings to mess eith my recents
