No Now Brief Widget on 3rd Party Launchers?

I'm unable to get the Now Brief widget on my device using Nova Launcher. It shows up under a different category name, but then appears to want to add, but does not. 

Anyone else see this or have a workaround? Happening on other 3rd Party Launchers as well?

Yeah, now brief doesn't work on nova launcher, it won't appear as widget, so I am using the default launcher for now until nova find a fix.

I'll cross my fingers, but it seems Nova has been dead in the water for a year now. Such a bummer, too. 😞

Same with Microsoft Launcher.
Shows as an option but won't add the widget.
Not too concerned about it because I can access the Now Brief in the Edge Panel.

Truthfully, Now Brief is not all that useful.
