Does anyone have a estimate of when my S23+ should get the official ui7. I am running a unlocked phone with a prepaid Sim. I heard one ui7 will come around the end of april??. I'm on the beta as on now

My Tab S9 also got the One UI 7 update. Still waiting for my S23 Ultra to get the final update that can make this phone stable. My phone is glitching so much on this beta software. It's a shame

It's not the preferred option, but if you are experiencing severe instability with this One UI 7 beta software, you can always request to exit the beta program. Doing so will update your device to the more stable One UI 6.1. Just make sure to back up all data on your device as a precaution before switching.

As I've heard, due to critical bugs and issues, all official One UI 7 updates have been delayed until further notice. S24 users are just finishing their official update rollout, and the last official prediction for the S23 line's update was May 2025. However, due to potentially undiscovered bugs, the rollout could be pushed back further to ensure user satisfaction and prevent potential device lockouts and security issues. Reports state that this One UI 7 delay is a one-time issue, not a trend, and that One UI 8 will be released largely on time. So, we S23 users will likely have One UI 7 for only a couple of months before the official One UI 8 update. I am not associated with Samsung; I am just a fan who follows Samsung leaks and news. This is the latest information I've gathered; Samsung is remaining rather quiet about this. If you have any questions, feel free to comment, and I will answer them as best I can.

Well my S23 got the update the to 7 the last week of April 2025. I wish they would have delayed it forever! Since the update they changed the indicator bar to not include the alarm or Bluetooth indicators. So much for a quick glance to see the status! The power drain is atrocious! I can fully charge to 100% at night and the battery is at less than 50% by morning without use! I've googled this issue and found many suggestions to attempt to fix this issue, none have worked. This is a extremely poor action on Samsung's part to force this update on phones that proceeded the S25. I have read that the S25 has the ability to run this update but the resources that are involved to run effectively are lacking in earlier phones. It seems to me that all Samsung is doing is to force people to upgrade a perfectly good phone to cash in on the dollars a new phone cost. My S23 ran wonderfully on One UI 6.1. Bring that back as an option!
