Google Sports Now Bar

Was wondering how long it took for everyone to get the sports from Google update in the now bar. The feature was there 2 updates ago and I had all my settings set up on the Google end, but I didn't actually see it pop up until today.

In the settings, there's an option to follow the teams you like from multiple sports, both college and pro. You select the teams you want to be updated on and whenever they play the score should automatically pop up in the now bar/status bar

Google Sports does not pop up on my now bar, I do have it on too

I say give it a few more days. Mine just appeared one day. It wasn't even from a new update, it just worked one day.

Just seen this online , hope this helps out ...
Meanwhile, some users still unable to experience the Google Sports. While it’s unofficial, but a temporary workaround would let you enable live scores on Now Bar.

Within Settings, navigate towards Apps and change the “Battery” settings for Always On Display and Google App. It should have been set to “Optimized,” you need to turn it to “Unrestricted.”

Clearing the cache and app data of the Google App is also required.
Return to Sports with Google section within Now Bar and turn off the two options namely “Personalise Search and Web & App Activity.” Now, reboot the device and turn both the disabled toggles on and check if the scores feature works.
