Android Auto and Pandora

Does anyone else have an issue since the latest update where Pandora ALWAYS automatically starts playing when connecting to Android Auto? I hadn't listened to Pandora in months but after the latest beta, it fired right up when connecting to Android Auto. Now, no matter which music app I've been using, Pandora always starts. I have to stop it and switch to what I want to listen to. Tried force stopping, rebooting, etc. Can't seem to fix it. Am I the only one?

what ever app i was using for music before i unplugged from my vehicle starts up. Pandora, Spotify, YouTube Music, Samsung music player, and even Scanner Radio does. The toggle is in Android Auto settings
