I wanted to ask to make sure, but I thought I had seen that the Smartthings Hub Dongle had received an update to now support Z-Wave products. Is that the case or was it false? I'm debating on buying Ring Contact Sensors 2nd gen and I want to see if they'll connect to the Smartthings Hub Dongle, so I don't have to buy a Ring Hub.
I don't believe so. It's only zigbee as samsung is trying to move away from zwave but so far matter is a PITA playing nice with smartthings. Can I ask what's your setup?
