Factory reset and all and still unable to locate. There's a section way att the bottom of the Apps tab to see what I've already download but no store to search and browse.
This is also preventing me from turning on Developer Mode from the App Store (via Samsung instructions) so I can add Jellyfin.
I have the same issue with my samsung tv model: UA65UA8000FXZA.
After the 1661 software update, the APP store is nowhere to be found. Or there is no option to SEARCH an application for install or download.
Does Samsung actually know and understand the issue? This is a recent issue after a new software update was installed. Why is Samsung providing a link of a youtube video from 6 years ago that has a different UI than this software update?
I always love how the mods come in and give you such outdated information. The new update broke the app store. It's missing. There is no APPS thumbnail at the start of your installed apps. There is no APPS tab on the left side menu that appears when you click left when you are already at the start of your apps. There is no way to open an app's little page and uninstall or re-download an app. Instead the home screen, which used to be very functional is cluttered with 25 thumbnails belonging to movies or services you don't even have subscriptions to. I don't need to know what's new on TV. I open that home screen for my **bleep**g apps.
I have the same issue on Samsung S95B 65" and Samsung S90D 77" TVs. Samsung really needs to fix this issue. There is no way to access their App store to add apps.
Do you have the Smart Things app on your phone? I was finally able to actually apps in the search results, but only on that app. TVs the App Store is still broken.
I have a frame TV, my home page completely gone, no access to the app store. I can access individual apps using search option and it tells me they are installed but no home page to select them from
Update, found the home screen on my phone when using Smart things, still not visible on TV though. Can access my list of apps through the phone...seems like they are forcing us to use Smart Things
