There is a thick black line on the screen that does. Or go away, it was a yellow line for a few weeks which wasn’t too obvious but now it is a thick black line and a second thinner line to its left. I have the extended warranty as it’s been just over a year since this purchase.

Hello! Thank you for reaching out! If this is occurring on the sources, then this will require service. Depending on your warranty, you will have a few options.

- If your unit was recently purchased, you can check with your retailer on their return/exchange processes.
- If you have an extended warranty you can reach out to them to have service set up.
- If you're within the one year warranty, you can Private message me or one of our moderators or you can call in directly at 1-800- 726-7864 with your full model and serial number to have service setup
- If you're OUT of warranty, you can use this link below to find a service center in your area.

Hello, it looks like your TV needs to be repaired or replaced. I am thinking that is a backlight or screen issue.

It's been many moons ago, where by accident, I messed up a Tv with a strong magnet that was in one of my coat pockets.
After full out panic finding magnet, I experimented little by little going closer to the screen with magnet to notice any change, and by luck flipping magnet over I was able to erase the huge mess on the screen.
So my curiosity now wonders if there's a speaker nearby with a huge magnetic field that might induce a shift on the screen.
Cheers

@Pauldef A magnet won't affect current LED, OLED or LCD screens. It only affects the much older CRT Tvs.
