I bought the new 85-inch QN90C just 5 days ago, and now both Disney+ and Hulu will not play shows. The menu content is fine; you can scroll and select videos and even click Play. But the screen goes blank, and after a couple of minutes, an error appears. I have installed the latest Samsung software version: T-PTMCAKUC-1310.3, E0301500,BT-S and I have reinstalled both apps (they are built-in, so you can't delete them). I have power cycled, reset the TV 3 times, reset the Samsung Hub 2 times, and unplugged it 3 times, and it still does not work.
All other apps (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Paramount+, Youtube, and Max) work fine on the QN90C.
Both Disney+ and Hulu work flawlessly on my Samsung Galaxy 22, Samsung Q60R TV, and my PC - the problem is only on this TV.
I get the following errors:
Hulu Error Code: P-DEV320
Unique Error ID: player-2-32191c7c
Disney+: no error code, just a message that something is wrong.

QLED and The Frame TVsI have a HU559000 Tv with both the SEK-3500 and SEK-4500 evolution kits connected to get HDR. My Disney plus will play movies but not in HDR. It used to say HDR10 on the movie display screen. Now it doesn’t. Also my Hulu app won’t respond when I open it it just goes to a dark screen and nothing happens. Does anyone know how to fix this? I should also mention that I use my phone’s 5g internet hotspot as I don’t have cable internet.

QLED and The Frame TVsI have been having this problem since December when I returned for the holidays and came back to find this issue with my Crunchyroll app. I didn’t have any other streaming services to compare against at the time so I thought it was a Crunchyroll issue. I then did the update the Samsung 2020 software and still had the issue. it’s strange because I have two other Samsung TVs that are a bit older and all of my apps play on those. Just not on my shiny new big TV. I recently got an account and tried out Hulu and it turns out it’s the same issue with them which means it’s a Samsung issue like you all have figured out already and why I started looking around online for more generic fixes. On Hulu the error is P-DEV302 and on crunchyroll error is DASH-113. it is strange because the app itself is clearly updating its content each week when new episodes come out, it will show episodes as watched that I streamed on a different Tv and it will play commercials, but it just won’t stream shows. I have tried all the fixes that you guys mentioned as well through working with Crunchyroll tech-support and nothing seems to work except to get me frustrated and it’s a pain in the butt to set the TV back up when you’ve wiped it clean and it didn’t fix anything.
What sucks is I probably am just out of warranty since I got the TV in March of last year and I didn’t call in the issue over the past few months because I thought it was with Crunchyroll not with Samsung :(. Upon reading this whole thread, yes I also have the QN90C 85”…it sounds like there might be some kind of fix where a tech will come to the house and do something to reset the TV with a flash drive or something… Can anyone describe very specifically the techs are doing and how they’re doing it so that when I call Samsung, I can describe that to them. Is there any kind of procedure I can do on my own that would replicate this effect? Maybe like taking it into the service mode like I remember I had to do on my old DLP TV to fix some various issues.

QLED and The Frame TVsno solutions for this, had to revert to the xbox, which defeats the purpose of having this almost brand new TV having to fire up another machine just to watch streaming apps, now it's spread to hulu, disney+, paramanunt+, pluto, luckly netflix still works

QLED and The Frame TVsTo everyone dealing with this issue, I've been having it since February or so and no one could figure it out. I even had the Samsung CSR remote access my S90C and she said the apps were not able to connect and high lots of jitter, so it looked like my ISP was to blame. Last night I searched the web...again...and came across the following link. I tried the 'Solution' (manual reset process) and it actually worked for me. Hulu, Disney+, Paramount+ and Peacock all stream correctly now. I'm not sure what's different between the manual reset and the factory reset from the settings menu, but something in there that was preventing the apps from establishing communications was removed. Good luck to the rest of you and I hope this works for you. What a massive PITA issue from Samsung.

QLED and The Frame TVsHi All,
I was really frustrated w/ Samsung since the update they had available back in October. After that update, Hallmark + stopped playing movies. I waited patiently for a fix, but by December the update they had available made it even worse that Hulu +, Paramount +, AMC + & Roku all stopped playing movies. I called & complained & Samsung reps don't help at all. I had a Samsung TV tech stop by early this year & he said another customer had the same issue, he replaced the motherboard & it still had the same problem of apps not playing movies.
As of today, 5/19/25, they finally made a new update for my TV. I downloaded it & apps still did not work. I came across this message board again to read some posts. I ended up using the post that suggested the site..
I found the button on the TV, held it for 5 seconds, then pushed my remote power button. The TV would turn off, but would not turn on. I did this several times, until one time I let go of the power button on the TV & just turned on the TV w/ the remote holding the button. Once I turned it turned on again, I simply held the button again & held it to turn off. At this point my TV kinda didn't start. I was a little worried, but after like 8 seconds it turned on. I assume Samsung perhaps finally fixed it? It had a different screen of 'backing up' the apps in the cloud & reloading them. All my apps appeared in the menu, but it took some time to reload them back. Once the apps loaded, I had to re-sign in. As of now, all the apps appear to finally work. If this did not work, I was about to send a massive email to local network channels & nationwide channels to have a reporter investigate & make it a story that will probably bring stocks down for Samsung...but so far..this firmware is working.

QLED and The Frame TVs**UPDATE**
Ok I did the process above (from this link) and it worked for me too! Months of fiddling with all of these things below, it feels pretty great to have a solution. Whew.
https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/QLED-and-The-Frame-TVs/Samsung-85-quot-Q90C-Not-Streaming-Some-A...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just figured I’d add myself to this long list of Samsung owners that can not resolve this problem. I’ve done all of these things:
1. Cold boot (holding down the power button till restart) - did this multiple times with no improvement.
2. Cleared app cache/data and reinstall Disney+ and Hulu - Multiple times with no improvement.
3. Reset SmartHub - reinstalled all apps - Multiple times no resolution to this bug.
4. Manually set the DNS to both 8.8.8.8 and also tried 1.1.1.1 - The option to turn off IPv6 is not available.
5. Tried to force a firmware update via a USB flash drive - this was unsuccessful as well. I may try this again after the last resort.
Last thing to do is a complete factory reset as outlined above. Really hope this works. Not amped about reinstalling everything again for the 5x. Would really love the option of just rolling back the firmware to a version that actually worked. Having a job in software and working with optimization of our systems for AI image generation, I have to say I’m pretty frustrated.
Please please coordinate with Disney+ and Hulu to get this resolved. Either get them to update for your firmware or fix your firmware to work with all apps. Not having access to functional apps that are advertised to function on your system makes your product look bad. Love the quality of the physical product - def not happy with the software.
