QLED and The Frame TVsI bought what I had understood is the Samsung flagship television for $5,500 and was impressed initially but now the screen doesn’t work (sound works fine and I can make out “shadows” but the picture is otherwise black). I paid $136 to someone from Best Buy to run diagnostics and he said that many Samsung televisions have a latent manufacturing defect in its motherboards which mean that a substantial percentage of even very expensive "flagship" televisions will stop working after a few years. I had expected that flagship televisions would have better reliability than a $300 television, but apparently this is untrue. I am out of the warranty period and also the statute of limitations (4 years) under the Uniform Commercial Code so I can't sue Best Buy or Samsung. Has anyone had any similar experiences?
