Just noticed a small blue dot on the bottom half of my month-old Samsung G9 OLED (G95SD). At first, I it really looks like it was a stuck pixel to the bare eye, but when I zoomed in with my phone, it looks like a uniform blue circle that overlaps multiple subpixels, not just a single stuck pixel. It also shows up distinctly on a full blue screen also.

It wasn’t there initially, I only noticed it last night. I ran the Pixel Refresh feature and left the monitor turned off overnight, but the dot was still there this morning. As instructed, I also tried gently scrubbing the area with a microfiber cloth and warm water, but it had no effect. That makes me think it’s not something sitting on top of the screen or the outer layer. Whatever it is, it seems to be coming from beneath.

Anyone know what this could be?

Hello! Thank you for reaching out! This is something that will require service. As doing the pixel refresh and leaving it off did not help. Depending on your warranty, you will have a few options.

- If your device was recently purchased, you can check with your retailer on their return/exchange processes.
- If you have an extended warranty you can reach out to them to have service processed.
- If you're within the one year warranty, you can Private message me or one of our moderators or you can call in directly at 1-800- 726-7864 with your full model and serial number to have service setup
- If you're OUT of warranty, for depot type products (Soundbars, Home Theater Systems, tablets, ect.) that require to be shipped we recommend you speak with our depot team for pricing and to have the service set up: 1-310-669-4334.
