Monitors and MemoryHello!
While using our PC, built in April 2025, the PC shutdown and went to the BIOS screen.
The SSD was visible in the BIOS, but not within the command line area to attempt to update the firmware or see if there was an issue.
I’ve attempted multiple fixes and now the PC will only turn on and nothing comes up on the screen. The fixes did include trying to update the SSD firmware. I noticed there was an update for that from September for the exact issue we are having.
Can anyone help me out here? Myself and some other tech friends are at a loss.

Monitors and MemoryIs the PC functional without the 990 installed? There is a chance the sudden shutdown corrupted the 990 too.
Remove the 990 and fix the PC first.
Can your tech friends handle troubleshooting a PC and repairing it?

Monitors and MemoryWe were able to get it working to the BIOS screen again after taking the battery out of the motherboard this morning.
The PC is functional as far as BIOS screen and troubleshooting screen, so I’m not entirely sure what you mean by functional.
We ran multiple command codes last night among other things.
I should also add that when the PC was running and shut down, it was actively updating games through Steam, since I’ve seen that’s sent SSDs into RAID when they shouldn’t be RAID or weren’t previously.
