Monitors and MemoryGreetings.
I purchased a 2Tb Samsung 990 Pro with heat sink to upgrade our son's desktop. Since the MB only has one PCIe 4.0 M.2 slot, I also purchased an adapter - an ACASIS EC-6606 docking station.
It's connected via the included USB Type 3 cable.
I installed Samsung Magician. The "Drive Dashboard" shows the EC-6606 and the "0/1.8Tb" drive, but on the "Drive Details" window it says "Disk 1 (Total Capacity 1.8 TB, 0 Volumes) No supported volumes found.
Windows Device Manager detects the EC-6606 dock.
The 990 Pro blinks with a red light. Windows chimes that something as been connected.
However Windows sees the new drive as D:\, but an info box appears that says "D:\ is not accessible. Incorrect function.
Is the drive dead?
Disk management says the drive is online and working properly.
Any help or ideas would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Monitors and MemoryThat worked!! Thanks!
I was thinking of doing that, but I always worry about messing with formatting or creating volumes etc. Almost as much as registry stuff.
Thanks again!!
