Monitors and MemoryMy 27" FT45 monitor (LF27T450FQNXGO) goes into sleep mode and wakes up when it's supposed to. But while in sleep mode it will repeatedly turn on for a few seconds and back off. Continuously and regularly maybe every 10 seconds. What's on the screen is just what it was when it went to sleep; nothing changes there.
What's turning it back on? I've been turning the power off to make it stop at night or it will do this all night.
Thanks!

Monitors and MemoryThanks. There are no power settings on, though. Could they cause the monitor to cycle in and out of standby? There's nothing on the monitor when this happens so it doesn't appear to be a signal from the computer unless there's a way it could OS could bring the monitor out of standby without displaying the desktop signal it's receiving.
Wake on LAN is off. I have used a remote control app that mirrors the desktop while I'm traveling but I haven't used it in months and it hasn't been on in the background.
Again, though, the second non-Samsung monitor connected to the computer doesn't display this behavior so it's not receiving any wake or sleep signals from the OS.
I know this is weird, but that's why I'm posting here in case it's been seen with this monitor before because it really seems monitor-specific.
I'll poke around again and report back if I find anything. Thanks for any ideas.
Mike

Monitors and MemorySorry I couldn't get to these over the long weekend. I ran them this morning.
I ran sfc /scannow and it found nothing to repair. Should I run DISM.exe?
I ran powercf.exe with several options looking for anything unexpected but I didn't find anything. I ran sleepstudy, systemsleepdiagnostics, and systempowerreport and I don't recognize anything useful but I can run them again with the system set to sleep rather than only the display as I have it now.
As I reported separately, I did play with the power settings and found that the problem happens when the system sleeps but it's different when the display is set to sleep. When the system stays awake but the display is set to sleep, both monitors go blank but the Samsung continues to display "HDMI 1" in the upper left corner in the same regular way. The display stays black, though. So something is happening to trigger it but not the other monitors I've used with it.
Thanks for your help and sticking with me here! I knew about some Advanced Windows Commands but not these so now I'm reading up on all of them just in case. I haven't used any in a long time.

Monitors and MemoryThanks! I reported in a few hours ago with some info above. Bottom line: No. I ran powercfg with several options and I've been looking at the reports it generated but I can't really interpret it.
FYI, though I have no reason to think this is related...
A new glitch since I last posted is that it now wakes from sleep without being touched. I've run powercfg /sleepstudy to see if I can figure that one out but I can't really tell. It wakes with a login screen as though it was in hibernation so I disabled hibernation and it still does it. I've checked power/sleep settings again and confirmed I didn't change anything that would do this. I'm also having issues with windows moving to one monitor after waking from sleep that I've never had before. I'm not saying it's aliens, but it's aliens.
