LED and OLED TVsI have two older Samsung tvs which I can easily add apps to the Home Screen. My newest (Samsung 55 inch crystal uhd 4k) has no option to add YouTube to the Home Screen. I can only edit what is already there. If I press and hold it just opens the app. From the app screen there is no settings option in the upper right corner. Resetting the tv by holding the power button didn’t work either. Why is this so hard???

LED and OLED TVsHa! Figured it out! After clicking Home you should have three choices toward the top of the page - ‘For You,’ ‘Live’ and ‘Apps.’ Click Apps. Scroll down to the line titles Downloaded Apps. From this line I was able to click and hold to get three options: Add to Home, Delete and Lock. Hope this works for you as well.

LED and OLED TVsI cannot even access any apps because I cannot get beyond the home screen. I bought the same as you - Samsung 55" Crystal UHD - but I did have to update the software. It didn't help. I'm logged out but it's just greyed out where I should log in. I have no apps. None
