I have just bought a The Frame TV and immediately after setting it up, both the white smart remote and the black back-up remote Right buttons have stopped working. I can control the TV from my phone but that is not a good solution as it means that I'm the only person that can control the TV. I notice many other posts with similar issues that just say reset the remote but that cannot be the case as it is both remotes. Anyone have any ideas or similar issue that you managed to solve? If so, how?
Hello! @rob1platt Thank you for posting about this. I completely understand your concerns with the both remotes not working. Can you reset both remotes? For the smart remote hold the back and up buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds to reset the remote. Back up remote removed the batteries and press and hold the power button for 10 seconds, and then reinsert the batteries.
Check for interference ensure there is no physical obstruction between the remotes and the tv. Also, make sure the the firmware is updated. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update and check for any available updates.
