Started doing this again a couple days ago. it last for about 5 to 10 minutes and sometimes it's a different position/pattern, but basically the same every time I turn on TV.  Should I invest in a new TV or try getting it repaired. Not a cable company issue.

Thanks

Did you check for loose cables? I have Comcast cable, and for a little while, I had pixelization from time to time and called Comcast, and they fixed it completely by sending something to the cable box remotely.

A repair usually costs nearly as much as a new TV so most people opt to get a new one rather than repair. How old is it?
