TV Keeps starting last app

I already have the auto run last app turned off. But my tv keeps starting the last app when it’s turned on. It also will go to the last used app when the tv is left on Home Screen too long. How do I fix? We also had it do this while watching paramount+, it keep switching the the app used previously, the remote was not being touched.

Hello! Thank you so much for posting about this. I completely understand your concerns with the tv restarting the last app. I'll be more than delighted to assist with this issue. Check to see if the software is updated. Here is a link you might find helpful: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062224/ if the software is updated you can perform a factory reset on the tv. 

1. Open Settings, and then select General.

2. Select Reset, enter your PIN (0000 is the default), and then select Reset.

3. To complete the reset, select OK. Your TV will restart automatically.

4. If these steps don't match your TV, navigate to Settings, select Support, and then select Self Diagnosis. The reset will be located in that menu.

If this does not help I recommend letting a service technician have a look. As we would like to gather additional information and look at this from a case-by-case basis, please provide the full model code and serial number of the device as well as your best contact phone number, name, and email.
