I guess most everyone on here with a smart TV is probably aware their servers are down and nothing but Samsung Live TV and Netflix work (apparently they don't go through Samsung servers like other apps). Don't be like me (and so many others) who did a factory reset and now can't download anything or even update the software because it gets stuck and gives a server error (880-1 or something similar). I was getting a CURL60 error as well and a warning that my internet was unstable.

LED and OLED TVsYeah I did a reset, now Iโll spend an hour downloading and signing into apps. Not happy. The Samsung 7 I have has been getting slower over the last couple years and now itโs their server. Iโm done, time to move on.

LED and OLED TVsSo frustrating. The lack of status communication could have saved me hours trying to reboot, reset, test, test. Retry, disconnect, test again. Schhh! Yes, servers fail but lack of communication to customers is beyond belief. Donโt Go to Samsung support. Total waste your time seeking a resolution there.. Donโt use chat feature either- Another waste of time.

LED and OLED TVsLuckily I did not reset! Whatever happens next - I have learned some things about Samsung.
a) Their treatment of customers is poor - how hard can it be to inform us about what is going on. After all I am constantly nagged by many useless notifications. And their support website is not helpful.
b) A Samsung outage should not affect my access to Youtube and many other apps. Samsung should not be inserting themselves between me and the Internet in an intrusive and unnecessary way.
I hope Samsung learns something from this.

LED and OLED TVsI'm writing from Mongolia. I have a Samsung UE55CU8500UXCE TV, and it's connected to the internet just fine. However, the YouTube app is not working, while everything else seems to be working normally.
I tried resetting the Smart Hub to fix it, but now I'm getting a โServer under maintenanceโ message when I try to log in to my Samsung account. So now I can't use the TV properly.
Is anyone else having the same issue?
Is this a server-side problem?
Any idea how long this might take to be fixed?
