I’m having an issue with my Samsung 8 Series 55” TV. When I press the button to open the settings menu, nothing happens. Additionally, there seems to be a window in the background that is also unresponsive. Can anyone assist me with this problem?

Faulty remote, tv's input source is not correct, or software glitch. Contact Samsung support.

Hello! @DashiBilali  Thank you for posting about  this.  Does the window is in the background show anything like an error code? If possible check your remote to ensure that the batteries are not the issue. If you're using a universal remote, ensure that it's properly paired with the TV. Also, check the tv for updates. You can access the menu after restarting go to Settings> Support> Software update and check for updates.

If the above steps don't work, you can perform a factory reset: Press Settings> General> Reset or Support> self diagnosis> reset on the remote

Please let me know if this helps

Thank you for your answer, I have done all of what you mentioned but the problem is I haven't access to the settings menu because it didn't show in the display, When I press the button to open the settings menu, nothing happensIMG-20250117-WA0002 (002).jpg

Can you try a power cycle on the TV and try from there? Also have you tried the remote on the SmartThings app?

Yes, I did, in my case, the setting dialog box doesn't appear on the screen when I press the settings icon.

I recommend letting a service technician have a look. As we would like to gather additional information and look at this from a case-by-case basis, please provide the full model code and serial number of the device as well as your best contact phone number, name, and email.
