Greetings Samsung Community,
I hope this message finds you well. Last week, my S95C OLED television underwent a software update, transitioning to the new ONE UI app interface. Since this update, I've been experiencing some troubling issues. First, the app hub (HOME Page) is frozen, making it impossible to navigate through my applications. The apps buttons on the Samsung TV will load the Netflix, Prime etc. I can get other apps to load, but only using the Alexa voice controls. But the hub software is not working since the ONE UI update.
Where would I post SW Update issues or feedback
I would greatly appreciate any advice on how to resolve these issues or the best steps to take moving forward.
Thank you!

LED and OLED TVsSame issue as everyone here. TV software update causal to some apps no longer working. 1.5 hours with tech support using most basic troubleshooting tree was ineffective. Impression: software update shipped with errors and now we need to wait for another update - will likely take a long time and no ownership of error taken by Samsung. At least own this mistake and present us with a solution or interim solution.

LED and OLED TVsHi I had the same problem after doing the update on my tv. I had to go into settings go to maintenance mode, create yourself a 4 digit pass code to get in. Once in it'll do a reboot. Once that has done press home button to exit and hopefully everything will be back to normal

LED and OLED TVsIโve had multiple visits from technicians that have repeatedly moved HDMI cables from port to port, completed factory soft and hard resets and nothing has worked. There was not one single issue with the TV prior to the โ2011โ software update - which is when it suddenly stopped functioning properly. A fix is required immediately, as for now I have a few thousand dollar black picture frame on the wall. Not happy at all with Samsungโs response and lack of information on this.

LED and OLED TVsTo add to this, version 2020.2 was released on January 8, 2025 - supposedly as a โhot fixโ for this issue. The same issues as before continue to persist and my apple tv box and PS5 still do not connect. Well done Samsung, this couldnโt be more embarrassingโฆ
When will there be a solution to this???

LED and OLED TVsSolution for Apple TV & PS5 Connection issue after update v2020.2:
Purchased an โultra high-speed HDMI cableโ from โRocketFishโ which immediately resolved the connectivity issue.
This is a software update issue that resulted in a normal HDMI cable no longer being able to handle the strength needed to connect to the TV. Make sure your software is updated and the SmartHub is fully restored to avoid issues.

LED and OLED TVsHow has this gone for you / turned out a few months later? I have a new S95C that keeps asking me to update firmware to what I believe is the new One UI, specifically software version 6500. I am very apprehensive to upgrading as Samsung is the only vendor I know of that does not allow downgrading of firmware/software. On my MSI monitor, I can downgrade/upgrade firmware freely and it's not even a Smart TV. Samsung could fix everyone's problems here literally instantly if they would allow us basic control over the devices that we bought from them for thousands of dollars. And until they do allow firmware downgrades, maybe it's time to boycott Samsung until they listen to the people who keep their company in business.

LED and OLED TVsGave up and bought a Google TV Streamer yesterday. Sucks to have to spend the extra money, but I'd rather do that than endure any more of Samsung's indifference. Was never happy with Tizen OS anyway. Good luck everybody.

LED and OLED TVsSame issue on S90c OLED since v 2011 update. I did discover workaround to play content I must cast to TV from iPhone using the Peacock App.

LED and OLED TVsIt would be great to hear from Samsung that they actually recognize the problem and are working on it. This is absurd and so disrespectful to their customers. Push out fix already!
